Adelaide does not have one running scene. It has several.
From sunrise jogs along Henley foreshore to tempo runs through Linear Park and hill sprints up Montefiore, the city's run clubs have split into distinct tribes. Free interval crews training on the Uni Loop. Beachside groups that finish at cafes serving burritos and bagels. A volunteer trail network heading into the Hills. RunHub counts 18 active clubs across the city, with Tuesday the most popular day and 6am the most common start time. The scene is more active than most visitors expect.

One gear decision every Adelaide runner shares
Every session on this list happens under South Australian sun. Early beach runs at Henley and Somerton. Morning Uni Loop intervals. Saturday Hills trails. The UV exposure is consistent and cumulative.
If you are weighing up whether you need sunglasses for running or want to understand which lenses handle variable light across different running environments, we have written both guides. Bear in mind that polarized lenses for running offer specific advantages for beach and trail conditions.
Re Your Run makes sunglasses built for exactly these conditions. Browse the range at reyourrun.com.au.

Tim Golubev
Founder, Re. (Re Your Run)
Tim built Re. after years of running in sunglasses that bounced, fogged, and ended up on his forehead. After discovering the UV damage that builds up without eye protection (even on cloudy days) and hearing the same frustrations from hundreds of other runners, he decided it was a problem worth fixing properly. With a background in Product across multiple industries, he approached it like any product problem: figure out what's broken, then build something that actually fixes it. He runs daily, co-founded Rose Bay Run Club, and Re. is his attempt to make one less thing that gets in the way of a good run.
