Saturday morning in Brisbane. Cold enough to feel like a real run. Warm enough to not regret leaving the house.
We launched the Club KT x Re. collab in person at The Running Company Newstead, and I genuinely do not know how to describe how good it felt. One of my favourite mornings since starting Re. That is not something I say lightly.
Here is how it went.
Five Kilometres Along the River
We kicked the morning off the right way.
Five kilometres along the river, all paces, walkers and runners. No one was chasing a time. Nobody was left behind. Just people moving through the city on a Saturday morning, which is honestly the best version of running.
That is what a good run club does. It removes all the pressure that people attach to running and leaves just the thing itself.
Brisbane showed up. People came from across the city, and it was genuinely great to be back out there, surrounded by runners, talking about training, talking about gear, talking about race plans. Moving and talking and covering ground. If you were there, you know exactly what I mean.
The People Who Made It Happen
None of this happens without good people around it.
Thank you to The Running Company Newstead for having us in the store and giving us the space to do this properly.
Thank you to Toby's Estate for the coffee, and Grounded Co for the snacks. Both went fast. No complaints.
Thank you to Dr Hydrate for keeping everyone going before and after the run.
And a big thank you to Shokz, TH7, and Bloc Running for contributing prizes. Someone went home with a free pair of Re. that morning. They know who they are.
These are brands that care about the running community, not just the running market. That distinction matters, and it came through on the day.
The Club KT Story
If you want the full story, it is all on the Club KT page.
The short version: Katie built something real. Club KT is a run club with an actual community behind it, and when Katie and I first spoke about working together, it was pretty obvious this made sense. Not in a commercial way. In a genuine way. The people who run with Club KT are exactly the kind of runners Re. was built for.
The collab pair was designed to reflect that. It looks like the club. It is built for the conditions. And it came from a real conversation between two people who care about the same thing.
Read more about how it came together on the Club KT page.
It Is Live Now
The Club KT x Re. collab is live.
If you have been asking, if you could not make it on Saturday, if you have been watching from a distance: now is your moment.
The pair is built on the Re. frame system with a lens that suits early mornings, evening runs, and everything in between. UV400, no bounce, and optically clear even when you are pushing hard. You can find it in the full collection or use the find your pair quiz if you want a recommendation based on how and when you run.
And if you are new to Re. and want to understand the lens systems before you buy, the lens guide is the best place to start.
The Response
We did not know what to expect going in.
You never do, really. You put something together, you back it, and then you wait to see if other people feel the same way about it.
The support since Saturday has been overwhelming. In the best possible way. People who were there. People who watched the reel. People who heard about it from someone who was there. Runners asking questions, wanting to know more, reaching out to say they finally found a pair worth trying.
It means a lot. More than I can put into words in a blog post.
Australian running has a community that I think is genuinely underrated. Brisbane especially. Saturday reminded me of that. The people who got up on a cold Saturday morning and came down, just to run and connect and be part of something, that is the whole point of what we are building.
What Is Next
More of this.
More events, more collabs, more runs. Club KT is not a one-off. This is the beginning of something we want to grow properly, with the right people and the right energy behind it.

And if you were there on Saturday: thank you. You made the whole thing.
Re.set. Re.frame. Re.peat.

Founder, Re.
Tim Golubev
Founder, Re. (Re Your Run)
Tim built Re. after years of running in sunglasses that bounced, fogged, and ended up on his forehead. After discovering the UV damage that builds up without eye protection (even on cloudy days) and hearing the same frustrations from hundreds of other runners, he decided it was a problem worth fixing properly. With a background in Product across multiple industries, he approached it like any product problem: figure out what's broken, then build something that actually fixes it. He runs daily, co-founded Rose Bay Run Club, and Re. is his attempt to make one less thing that gets in the way of a good run.
