The gap between marketing and measurement is 4 to 9 grams. On paper, that sounds trivial. Over a half marathon, it is the difference between forgetting you're wearing sunglasses and occasionally noticing them.
Why weight alone does not win
Dropping grams is a prerequisite, not a destination. A 20-gram frame that bounces on downhills, fogs on climbs, or slides on a sweaty nose is just a lighter problem to manage.
