Dappled light under tree canopy is the hardest thing for fixed-tint lenses. The Re.silience adaptor handles it brilliantly. Going from dark shade to bright exposed sections constantly, the lens adapts without any distraction.
Trail puts them through their paces - really glad they're holding up. Nothing flying in is kind of the whole point. Appreciate the review.
Re. came up at our running club and three of us ordered at the same time. All three pairs arrived and all three of us are very happy. The Re.silience adaptor clear is the model I got and it's been excellent.
Having lenses that adapt rather than fight the conditions is such a good feeling on a run. Really glad it's working for you.
Used these for a night trail event with some headtorch running and they were excellent. The clear lens doesn't reduce the headtorch beam and kept dust and small debris out of my eyes on the descent. The lens stayed clear even when I was breathing hard on the climbs.
Trails are a proper test. Really glad they're delivering. Nothing better than a pair that just works out there. Appreciate the review.
The photochromic adaptor lens on the Re.silience is cleverly balanced. Clear enough in low light to be genuinely useful, dark enough in bright sun to provide real UV protection. Not a compromise, genuinely both.
Having lenses that adapt rather than fight the conditions is such a good feeling on a run. Really glad it's working for you.
I specifically needed a pair for overcast days and early morning runs when the light is flat and tricky. These clear adaptors on the Re.silience frame are exactly what I was after. The photochromic lens starts clear and darkens subtly as the sun breaks through, genuinely smart tech.
Full range across changing conditions without needing to swap - that's what the adaptor is all about. Really glad it's coming through.

FAQ
What makes Re. sunglasses different from other running sunglasses?
At Re., we start where most sports sunglasses cut corners: the lens.
While many performance sunglasses use cheaper AC (acetate) lenses to protect margins, we choose premium PC (polycarbonate) lenses across our range. They’re significantly more expensive to manufacture...and yes, they hurt our margins, but they deliver far superior optical clarity, impact resistance, and durability, which matters when you’re running in changing light, traffic, and unpredictable conditions.
We then design our frames around those lenses: lightweight, ventilated, and stable at pace, with features like airflow channels to reduce fogging and fits that stay secure without pressure. Everything is tested, refined, and iterated by runners, with real feedback from running communities, not lab-only assumptions.
The result is running sunglasses that prioritise vision, safety, and performance first, built for everyday runners who care about how their eyes feel at kilometre 2 and kilometre 20, not just how the glasses look on a shelf.
Do you offer warranties or returns?
Yes, we offer a 30-day return policy on all sunglasses. Additionally, all Re. sunglasses come with a 1-year warranty that covers manufacturing defects. We stand behind the quality of our products and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.

Are Re. sunglasses suitable for non-runners?
Yes! While Re. sunglasses are optimized for running, they are versatile and great for any outdoor activity, including cycling, hiking, and even casual wear. The combination of style, comfort, and performance makes them suitable for any active lifestyle. Our Adaptor Lenses and Photochromic lenses can even be worn for indoor activities as a form of eye protection…or just because they look fresh!
Do you have sunglasses for prescription lenses?
At the moment, we do not offer prescription-ready sunglasses, but we do offer insert frames for all of our models (excluding Re.balance frames) which are automatically included free with your order. These insert frames will need to be taken to our optometrist to have the right prescription fitted. We recommend to speak to your optometrist before purchase to confirm specifics and cost, we are happy to provide any details if required.
